Spring & Fall Cleanup Services
Debris removed. Beds prepared. Your property positioned to thrive all season long.
The Foundation of Everything Else We Do
Seasonal cleanup is the foundation of everything else we do. You can have the best lawn care program in the world, but if debris is buried on your lawn and leaves are choking your beds, you are fighting uphill. Our spring and fall cleanup services remove the mess, prepare your beds, and position your property for success through whatever the season brings.
Why Seasonal Cleanup Is Foundational
Most homeowners underestimate how much spring and fall cleanup impact their property’s health and appearance. This is where we separate ourselves from companies that only show up for mowing. Real property care requires understanding what happens when seasons change and being ready to do the work that makes the difference.

Debris Removal
Thorough clearing of branches, sticks, and leaves from lawns, beds, and landscape areas. We don’t do quick once-overs.
Bed Preparation
Beds cleaned out, fresh mulch applied (2-3 inches), soil turned, problem areas addressed, and edges cut clean.
Lawn Preparation
Deep raking to remove thatch and dead material, compaction addressed, and aeration/overseeding needs assessed.
Seasonal Timing
Scheduled at the optimal window for your property. Spring before growth accelerates, fall before dormancy sets in.

Spring vs. Fall: What Each Cleanup Covers
Spring Cleanup
Late March through April
- Remove winter debris, branches, and sticks
- Thorough raking to remove leaves and thatch
- Clean and edge flower beds
- Add fresh mulch to beds (2-3 inches)
- Assess and address winter damage to lawn
- Remove dead perennials from spring bloomers
- Clear gutters and downspouts
- Assess aeration and overseeding needs
- Edge beds and borders for clean appearance
- Prepare for seasonal lawn treatments
Fall Cleanup
September through October
- Multiple leaf removal passes through lawn
- Clear leaves from beds, borders, and landscape
- Cut back dead perennials (3-4 inches from ground)
- Clean up annuals that didn’t survive frost
- Edge beds for fall appearance
- Add fresh mulch where needed
- Add compost or soil amendments for spring
- Prepare lawn for critical fall fertilization
- Remove debris from hardscaping and patios
- Clear gutters and downspouts for winter
Timing Matters. A Lot.
Spring Cleanup: Late March through April, before growth really accelerates. We time this so debris is removed before heavy growth starts but after the worst winter weather has passed.
Fall Cleanup: September through October. We start as soon as leaves begin falling and continue through early winter. The earlier we start, the better we manage leaves before dormancy sets in.
- Waiting until May or November means you’ve missed the optimal window
- Debris sitting through critical periods causes damage that our seasonal service is designed to prevent
The Difference Between Raking and Real Cleanup
Any homeowner can drag a rake around. Real seasonal cleanup goes deeper:
- Thorough debris removal from all areas, not just the obvious spots
- Bed preparation with turning, amending, and edging
- Removal of hazards like dead branches that could fall
- Attention to drainage to prevent water problems
- Integration with fertilization and treatment timing
- Preparation for success in the season ahead
It’s the difference between making your property look acceptable and making it look like someone actually maintains it.
